UNIFAMILIAR HOUSING MATANZAS

The commission requested to continue with the second home project carried out by another architect, located in the Las Brisas sector, commune of Navidad (near the town of Matanzas, 6th region, Chile).

Starting with this general game, it is decided, in favor of advanced time, to keep some initial guidelines; such as the perimeter and number of floors; but adding more mobility and spaciousness to the spaces. Likewise, to the projected element, we proceeded to give it greater movement in its facades, respecting the line as a guarantor of forms. In this sense, windows, accesses and stairs were highlighted in order to give hierarchy to the facades and interiors.

Lastly, we give the building a higher height, to achieve -from the main room- reach the gaze at the "square rock", an uncertain stone formation in the Matanza sea, which -according to local belief- determines the condition of the waters and the wind to practice nautical sports on its beaches.
